THE CAMPAIGN: Prior to the Kickstarter, the game's Instagram, Facebook and Twitter were created. Ad campaigns to increase email list and brand awareness were also launched . During the Kickstarter, A/B ad campaigns were created and tested, targeting Mom and Dad bloggers, home school parents, look alike audiences, and more.
THE RESULT: The brand achieved its Kickstarter goal within the first 12 hours and ultimately raised over $71,000, exceeding the goal by 140%. Within the first four hours, it gained "New and Noteworthy" and "Projects We Love" recognition by Kickstarter.. Additionally, the project's social media saw a 53% engagement increase and the project was endorsed by actor Julianna Margulies.
GOAL: Generating traffic for grand opening, gain 2,000 followers on Instagram and 500 on Facebook within the first month.
THE CAMPAIGN: The brand didn't want to create too much buzz prior to the opening, as to stay respectful to the community during the pandemic.
Campaigns began the week of opening. To compliment the venue branding to social media, Erin used a preset for posting. She created concise Instagram Highlights to keep people informed of the menu, hours, and safety standards at a glance. The posting schedule was designed to show the space, safety, food, and cocktails. After the first few weeks, exciting specifics were highlighted,, such as their
Beer-Barrow and weekend night images, to keep the audience's attention. Additionally, Erin took the initial food and beverage images for both PR and social media purposes. She worked closely with the PR team to create a successful media, their first promotional push, two days prior to the grand opening.
THE RESULT: The social media gained 6,000 followers on Instagram and 1,000 followers on Facebook in the first month, exceeding the overall goal by 240%. The restaurant's reservations booked two weeks in advance after opening for the first month and landed on multiple media articles on their top 10 outdoor dining experiences.
GOAL: Sell out NYE Bash at a local dance club, prior to the event date.
